PMO Governance & Portfolio Management Section Manager

About the Role

alfanar Group is seeking a PMO Governance & Portfolio Management, Section Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing project portfolio and PMO activities within the Support Services Division, ensuring effective governance and alignment with business objectives.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the successful delivery of projects by maintaining robust governance frameworks and aligning project portfolios with strategic business objectives. The Section Manager will play a key role in monitoring performance and optimizing project processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the assigned portfolio of projects and monitor their overall performance.
• Ensure all projects are aligned with approved objectives, priorities, and business plans.
• Support project evaluation, prioritization, sequencing, and benefits realization processes.
• Identify portfolio-level dependencies, constraints, risks, and opportunities.

PMO Governance and Process Management

• Establish and maintain PMO governance, methodologies, standards, and templates.
• Ensure project teams adhere to approved project management practices and requirements.
• Monitor compliance with governance, approvals, documentation, and reporting requirements.
• Improve PMO processes, tools, and controls based on business needs and lessons learned.
