Apex Aether is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer, Cloud, to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves acting as the technical counterpart in sales discussions, focusing on Google Cloud solutions for clients across Saudi Arabia. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience, with a competitive salary offered based on qualifications.

Role Overview

The Pre-Sales Engineer, Cloud, is responsible for scoping and designing Google Cloud solutions. This role bridges the client, sales, and engineering teams, requiring the ability to conduct technical discovery, deliver demonstrations, and translate business requirements into actionable architectures for the engineering team. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and business audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Account Managers throughout the sales cycle, from initial meetings to proposal finalization.
Conduct technical discovery sessions and design Google Cloud solution architectures that align with client objectives and budget.
Deliver product demonstrations and proofs-of-concept, and prepare responses to RFPs and tenders.
Develop clear scopes of work and technical proposals that the delivery team can execute.
Maintain current knowledge of Google Cloud offerings and the broader Apex Aether portfolio, sharing insights with the team.

Qualifications and Experience

2-5 years of experience in a relevant pre-sales or technical role.
Demonstrated ability to design and articulate complex technical solutions.
Strong communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences.

Preferred Attributes

Google Cloud certification (Associate or Professional level).
Familiarity with security, application delivery, or IT operations solutions.
Experience with public-sector tenders within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
