The Role of Presales Engineer

The Presales Engineer is a full-time position responsible for understanding customer and partner requirements, developing technical strategies, and proposing solutions. This role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field, capable of delivering comprehensive technical support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify requirements and business opportunities through customer and partner engagements.
• Develop project technology strategies by understanding client objectives, diagnosing requirements, articulating solution risks, recommending project approaches, preparing time and cost estimates, and planning the full project life cycle.
• Prepare and deliver business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentations, and conducting proof-of-concept demonstrations when necessary.
• Maintain a strong understanding of infrastructure requirements across various industries.
• Propose technical solutions and oversee the selection of technologies, including estimating resources required to meet customer specifications.
• Complete technical documentation related to projects, training materials, site-references, and other relevant materials.
• Collaborate with the Headquarters (HQ) team to gather local requirements and advocate for product feature optimization.
• Provide technical recognition, training, and support to partners' technical and presales personnel.
• Perform any other assigned ad-hoc duties as required.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Presales Engineer position must possess 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating a proven track record in presales engineering or a similar technical role.
