Role Summary

Alsalam Aerospace Industries is seeking a Pricing & Estimation Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for leading all pricing and cost estimation activities for bids, proposals, and commercial opportunities. The manager will ensure the development of accurate, competitive, and commercially sound estimates by coordinating cost inputs, developing pricing models, analyzing market conditions, and supporting pricing reviews and negotiations. The role also involves overseeing estimating methodologies, maintaining pricing and estimating tools and data, ensuring estimate accuracy and traceability, and providing leadership to the Pricing & Estimation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, development, and review of cost estimates, pricing models, and commercial pricing inputs for bids and proposals.
• Develop and implement estimating methodologies, Basis of Estimate (BOE) assumptions, cost models, and pricing strategies.
• Consolidate, validate, and challenge cost inputs related to manpower, materials, subcontractors, tooling and equipment, logistics, overhead, and other project costs.
• Conduct scenario, sensitivity, market, and competitive analysis to support pricing decisions and ensure commercially competitive proposals.
• Lead pricing reviews, commercial clarifications, and negotiations with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors as required.
• Review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and traceability of assumptions and cost inputs.
• Lead day-to-day Pricing & Estimation activities and ensure timely delivery of estimates in line with bid and proposal requirements.
• Maintain and continuously improve estimating tools, cost databases, pricing models, benchmarks, and historical cost data.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Contracts, and Business Development teams to obtain and validate relevant cost and commercial inputs.
• Identify pricing and cost risks, evaluate their potential impact, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies and pricing adjustments.
• Establish and maintain appropriate pricing and estimation standards, processes, templates, and governance.
• Coach, mentor, and review the work of team members to improve estimating and pricing capabilities.
• Support management in commercial decision-making, bid strategy, profitability analysis, and pricing approvals.
• Ensure all estimates and pricing activities comply with applicable company policies, procedures, and commercial requirements.

Experience Requirements

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in pricing and estimation roles.
