Role Overview
CleanLife is seeking a Procurement & Inventory Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring the efficient execution of procurement activities and the timely availability of essential materials and operational supplies. The specialist will play a key role in optimizing quality and cost, while strictly adhering to company policies and operational requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Receive and review purchase requests from various departments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Coordinate with warehouses to ensure proper receipt of materials, verifying adherence to specifications and quantities.
- Follow up on invoices and manage all procurement-related financial documentation.
- Resolve supply delays or issues effectively, coordinating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Supplier Management and Cost Optimization
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, obtain competitive quotations, and perform detailed price comparisons to achieve the best value.
- Manage supplier relationships and lead negotiations to secure the most favorable commercial terms.
- Maintain and regularly update the supplier database, preparing periodic performance reports.
- Ensure strict adherence to approved procurement budgets.
- Contribute to improving procurement processes and actively work towards reducing overall operational costs.
Logistics and Inventory Support
- Handle import procedures and coordinate customs clearance processes efficiently.
- Support comprehensive inventory management by monitoring stock levels.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure continuous material availability in line with operational needs.
Required Experience
Candidates applying for the Procurement & Inventory Specialist role should possess 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in procurement and inventory management functions.
