About the Role

AREEB is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of products and services that align with the organization's operational and business requirements.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Senior Procurement Specialist plays a crucial role in optimizing supply costs and enhancing vendor management. This involves supporting the development of strategic procurement initiatives and implementing cost-effective solutions to meet organizational objectives and improve overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Source new suppliers and conduct comprehensive cost analysis to identify optimal procurement opportunities.
• Negotiate contract terms, lead contract negotiations, and administer contracts to ensure favorable conditions and compliance.
• Manage all procurement activities, including the preparation and processing of purchase orders.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies and established procurement procedures.
• Maintain effective and collaborative communication with all internal departments to support business objectives and foster cross-functional cooperation.
• Prepare and update reports in both Arabic and English as required by direct management.
• Support the development of procurement strategies and cost-effective solutions to optimize supply costs and improve vendor management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a procurement role.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct cost analysis and negotiate contracts effectively.
• Proficiency in preparing reports in both Arabic and English.
• Strong understanding of procurement strategies and vendor management best practices.
