Abunayyan Holding is seeking a Procurement & Local Content Lead to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to enhancing the company's strategic supply chain initiatives, focusing on both procurement excellence and the development of local content strategies within a dynamic environment.

Purpose of the Role

The Procurement & Local Content Lead will operate under the guidance of the Strategic Supply Chain Manager. This role's primary objective is to lead strategic procurement and local content initiatives, supporting cross-purchasing across Strategic Business Units (SBUs), ensuring robust procurement master data governance, fostering supplier development, managing framework agreements, and ensuring compliance with local content regulations. The position is critical for maximizing group value through effective strategic sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement local content strategies to enhance IKTVA performance and contribute to national value creation.
• Develop and qualify local suppliers to strengthen the overall supply chain ecosystem.
• Ensure strict adherence to local content regulations and manage all required reporting.
• Lead cross-purchasing initiatives, support the establishment of framework agreements, and manage strategic sourcing processes.
• Oversee procurement master data governance and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
• Engage effectively with internal teams and external entities to advance localization initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement and local content, preparing detailed spend analyses, dashboards, and executive reports.
• Manage supplier performance evaluations, ensure approved vendor governance, facilitate supplier qualification, and promote continuous improvement among vendors.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, or local content development.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, and managing compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring, spend analysis, and reporting.
• Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to effectively manage strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement within the company's operational framework.
