Procurement Manager, Fit-Out & Interior Contracting

iHR (International Human Resources) is seeking a Procurement Manager for a client specializing in fit-out and interior contracting projects. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves delivering solutions across commercial, retail, hospitality, and other sectors. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading the entire procurement function, ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards.

Role Overview

The Procurement Manager will oversee material planning, sourcing, supplier negotiations, purchase orders, and the timely delivery of materials to project sites. This position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience, specifically within the fit-out or interior contracting industry, to manage complex procurement processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and drawings to develop detailed material plans and procurement schedules.
• Source and procure a wide range of materials, including FF&E, joinery, finishes, lighting, and MEP materials.
• Manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs), compare supplier quotations, negotiate prices and payment terms, and issue purchase orders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate material submittals, samples, and approvals with project, design, and site teams.
• Monitor procurement budgets, identify cost savings, track delivery schedules, and ensure material availability.
• Lead and develop the procurement team, ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Supply Chain.
• A minimum of 8 years of procurement experience in fit-out or interior contracting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience supporting retail, commercial office, and hospitality fit-out projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong ability to interpret BOQs, specifications, and architectural/MEP drawings.
• Established supplier network, strong negotiation, and vendor-management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/procurement systems.
