About the Company and Role

Our client, a company specializing in fit-out and interior contracting projects, delivers solutions across commercial, retail, hospitality, and other sectors. They are seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position that requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in procurement within the fit-out and interior contracting industry.

Role Overview

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading the entire procurement function. This involves overseeing material planning, sourcing, supplier negotiations, purchase order management, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials to project sites. The role emphasizes maintaining cost efficiency and adherence to quality standards throughout the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and drawings to develop detailed material plans and procurement schedules.
• Source and procure a wide range of materials, including FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), joinery, finishes, lighting, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) materials.
• Manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs), compare supplier quotations, negotiate prices and payment terms, and issue purchase orders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate material submittals, samples, and approvals with project, design, and site teams.
• Monitor procurement budgets, identify cost savings opportunities, track delivery schedules, and ensure material availability.
• Lead and develop the procurement team, ensuring compliance with company procedures and policies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in procurement, specifically within the fit-out and interior contracting industry.
• Proven experience in managing end-to-end procurement functions for complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
