About the Procurement Specialist Role
Horizon Construction Development Limited, a subsidiary of Far East Horizon (****** and a leading equipment rental company in China, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position supports the company's commitment to providing comprehensive "product+ service" solutions to clients in the construction and industrial sectors.
Role Purpose and Context
The Procurement Specialist will play a key role in supporting procurement operations. This involves coordinating with suppliers throughout the quotation, invoicing, and payment settlement processes. The objective is to ensure timely approvals, accurate documentation, and a smooth engagement with all suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier settlement and reconciliation for various categories, including Procurement Department suppliers, HR service providers, spare parts vendors, and ad-hoc procurement suppliers.
- Collaborate with the Procurement Department Manager on daily supplier management and communication activities.
- Conduct internal audits of supplier reconciliation data, procurement system processes, and internal data management practices.
- Monitor supplier payment schedules and liaise with the Finance Department to ensure timely invoice processing and settlement.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, prepare supplier performance reports, and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supplier coordination, accounts payable, or procurement settlement.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar is preferred.
Required Skills and Proficiencies
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of invoice processing, procurement procedures, and supplier management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Mandatory language skills: Conversational Chinese and Arabic, with fluent English.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Region.
