About the Opportunity

The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) is partnering with a leading real estate organization in Saudi Arabia to appoint an experienced Procurement Supervisor. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is integral to leading and enhancing the client's procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor management activities.

Role Overview

The Procurement Supervisor will take ownership of the procurement function within a growing organization, reporting directly to senior executive leadership. This role involves developing and executing procurement strategy, driving cost efficiencies, strengthening supplier relationships, and ensuring robust governance across the full procurement lifecycle. The supervisor will oversee procurement strategy and operations, managing sourcing activities from initial market assessment and vendor qualification through RFQ/RFP processes, commercial negotiation, contracting, and purchase order management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, capability, cost, and compliance.
  • Manage complex RFQ and RFP processes, including evaluation criteria, vendor presentations, recommendations, and business cases.
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, collaborating with Legal on contract terms, compliance, SLAs, and renewals.
  • Manage preferred supplier relationships, framework agreements, and vendor performance.
  • Oversee purchase requisitions, purchase orders, delivery follow-up, and invoice matching.
  • Analyze procurement spend and identify opportunities for cost optimization and measurable savings.
  • Ensure procurement activity complies with Delegation of Authority requirements, Saudi regulations, and internal governance standards.
  • Maintain audit-ready procurement and contractual documentation.
  • Lead and develop a Procurement Specialist while working closely with Finance, Legal, project, and operational teams.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years' experience within procurement and supply chain management, including at least 3 years at management or senior level.
  • Strong experience managing complex RFQ/RFP, tendering, and vendor selection processes.
  • A proven track record of delivering cost reductions and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Excellent contract negotiation and vendor relationship management capabilities.
  • Experience working with procurement/ERP platforms such as Yardi, SAP, or equivalent systems.
  • Knowledge of Saudi commercial law and procurement regulations.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience within real estate, construction, or property management is highly advantageous.
  • CIPS, CPM, APICS, or another recognized procurement/supply chain qualification is beneficial.

Location and Work Arrangement

This is an office-based, full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
