The Role of Production Manager

Kumait Concrete Poles Factory is seeking a Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations in Riyadh and Shaqra', Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing daily production activities to ensure targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, cost, and delivery schedules. The Production Manager will lead a team and coordinate with various departments to optimize operational efficiency and maintain high product standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly production activities and develop production schedules in line with project requirements.
• Ensure production targets are achieved regarding quantity, quality, cost, and delivery schedules.
• Review shop drawings, reinforcement details, embedded items, lifting points, openings, and dimensional requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Planning, Procurement, Maintenance, HSE, Logistics, and Project/Site teams.
• Lead and supervise production supervisors, foremen, technicians, operators, and workers.
• Monitor manpower productivity and optimize resource allocation to improve operational efficiency.
• Control material consumption, concrete and steel wastage, rework, and production costs.
• Oversee mold/formwork preparation, casting, vibration, curing, demolding, finishing, storage, and handling processes.
• Monitor product quality, resolve production issues, and implement corrective actions for defects and non-conformities.
• Coordinate maintenance activities for molds, cranes, batching plants, casting equipment, and other production machinery.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE requirements and promote a strong safety culture.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant production management role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex production activities and schedules.
• Strong understanding of quality control, cost management, and operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
