Production Operator

About the Role

MTC Tyre Company is seeking an Operator – Textile Rubberizing Calender to join its Semi-Finishing department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on the efficient and safe operation of calendering machinery within a tyre/rubber manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Fabric/Rubber Calender machines efficiently and safely.
• Run the machine at supplier-rated speed while maintaining product quality.
• Monitor auto bank, surge, and feed mill operations.
• Handle extruder, mills, let-off, and wind-up operations.
• Operate and monitor Calender let-off systems.
• Maintain fabric gauge and calender skim as per specifications.
• Adjust calender roll gap according to fabric gauge.
• Identify and resolve minor machine/process issues.
• Monitor machine parameters and ensure smooth production.
• Minimize scrap generation and ensure consistent product quality.
• Follow safety, quality, and production procedures.

Candidate Qualifications

• Experience in tyre/rubber manufacturing, preferably within the Semi-Finishing / Calendering section.
• Hands-on experience operating Fabric/Rubber Calender machines.
• Experience with Comerio Ercole Calender is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of textile fabric calendering and rubber compound processing.
• Ability to independently operate and monitor the complete calendering process.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time position within the Semi-Finishing department of MTC Tyre Company. The operator will work directly with production machinery in a manufacturing setting.
