The Professional Services Consultant Role

Fortinet is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves working with clients and partners, both remotely and onsite, on engagements of medium-to-high complexity. The primary focus is on the implementation aspects of project delivery, including the deployment, optimization, and operation of firewall and other enhanced security products, along with all related documentation. The position requires a team player who applies a structured approach to implementing IT security solutions.

Engagement and Design Responsibilities

• Develop a clear understanding of customer engagements, including objectives, project scope, and business and technical requirements.
• Participate in architecture design workshops with customers and partners, providing necessary input.
• Develop project-related documents, including technical architecture diagrams. These may include High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Migration Plan, Test Plan, Methods of Procedures, Network Implementation Plan, and As-Built guides.
• Participate in scoping meetings and contribute to the development of statements of work based on accurate analysis of customer requirements.
• Ensure project documents are accurate, complete, current, and appropriately stored.

Technical Implementation and Support Activities

• Perform deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Fortinet security solutions within customer environments.
• Assist customers through the rollout, migration, or go-live phases for deployed security solutions.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for customer staff on relevant Fortinet security solutions.
• Resolve issues or escalate them in a timely fashion.
• Minimize Fortinet’s exposure and risk on projects.

Qualifications and Professional Development

Candidates should possess 3-6 years of relevant experience in IT security implementation. The role requires a commitment to continuous professional growth, including developing knowledge and skills to remain proficient with Fortinet technologies, products, and services through self-study or by attending required trainings. Additionally, the consultant is responsible for completing and submitting internal administrative tasks such as timesheets, activity reports, and project reports.
