Role Overview: Project Engineer (Civil) Power Generation

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer (Civil) to oversee civil works within power generation projects. This role involves comprehensive responsibility for planning, coordinating, and supervising all civil engineering activities, ensuring they are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in strict adherence to project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise civil works for power generation projects from initiation through final handover.
• Review project drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and contract documents.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress and ensure all civil works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and established schedules.
• Supervise diverse civil activities, including the construction of generator foundations, equipment foundations, cable trenches, control rooms, and associated infrastructure works.
• Prepare and continuously monitor project schedules and progress reports.
• Review contractor work, site measurements, and all relevant project documentation.
• Identify technical issues promptly and provide practical engineering solutions to maintain project progress.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and company policies.
• Attend project meetings regularly and provide consistent project status updates.
• Support project testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out activities.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Project Engineer (Civil) position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, ideally within the power generation sector or similar heavy industrial projects.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Projects team of Alkhorayef Industries Company.
