Project Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical)

About the Role

Jsaas Contracting is seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) to join their team. This full-time position is based in Shaqra and the Riyadh Region governorates, Saudi Arabia, and involves working on a government operation and maintenance contract for fire and life safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical supervision to technicians, including assigning maintenance tasks and monitoring their timely completion.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance for fire alarm systems, firefighting systems, and fire networks in accordance with approved plans.
• Manage service requests, ensuring adherence to contractual response times, and document all actions with photos and readings.
• Prepare data for monthly payment certificates, compensatory items, and technical reports.
• Inspect materials and spare parts, verifying compliance with specifications before installation.
• Ensure the application of occupational health and safety standards and Civil Defense requirements on site.
• Manage and document all work exclusively through the company's digital platform.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, verifiable through GOSI statements and experience certificates. The total experience required is between 5-10 years.
• Valid professional accreditation from the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Open to all nationalities; non-Saudis must possess a valid transferable Iqama. Sponsorship transfer occurs only after successfully completing a 180-day probation period.
• Preferred qualifications: NFPA or Civil Defense certificates, and a valid Saudi driving license.

Contract Details

• This is a fixed-term 12-month contract, with potential for renewal.
• A 180-day probation period applies.
• The work schedule is 6 days per week.
• The total wage package includes allowances for housing and transport.
