About the Role
Kent is seeking a Project Engineer to join its full-time engineering team within the Oil & Gas market in Hawtah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a new and expanding team, strengthen technical capabilities, and enhance Kent’s presence and reputation across the sector.
Role Purpose
The Project Engineer will support site engineering, design review, and project execution. This role ensures compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and international codes. Key activities include conducting design document reviews, preparing engineering documents, and providing support for construction and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review design packages, including Mechanical, Piping, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation drawings.
- Ensure all engineering designs and documents comply with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards, Specifications, and applicable international codes.
- Review vendor documents, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and manufacturer data for compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare procurement documents such as Material Take-off (MTA), Material Requisition (MR), and Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE).
- Prepare redline markups, weldmaps, and as-built documentation, including I-Plant requirements.
- Identify and report technical issues or deviations and prepare Technical Queries.
- Support the preparation of reports, method statements, and work procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in a relevant engineering field.
- Ability to complete work with a moderate level of supervision.
- Emerging understanding of key business drivers relevant to project execution.
- Commitment to supporting and championing new initiatives within the team.
- Willingness to support new team members and constructively question existing practices.
