Project Manager Live Events & Festivals

About the Role

PROVEN is seeking a Project Manager – Live Events & Festivals to support a client operating in Saudi Arabia's esports and live entertainment industry. This contract role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on the planning and delivery of large-scale live events and festivals. The Project Manager will ensure efficient visitor movement and operational effectiveness through expertise in planning shared spaces, circulation routes, dwell areas, and queueing systems.

Role Context

The client is involved in delivering large-scale events and festivals, with a focus on creating engaging visitor experiences through innovative event planning and operational excellence. This position requires proven experience across multiple live event seasons, strong stakeholder coordination capabilities, and the ability to manage complex event environments to ensure seamless experiences for visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and coordination of shared spaces, pedestrian circulation, dwell areas, and queueing systems for large-scale live events and festivals.
• Develop and implement effective crowd movement and space utilization plans to support safe and efficient event operations.
• Coordinate with event organizers, venue teams, operational stakeholders, and relevant contractors.
• Oversee project schedules, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely execution.
• Identify potential operational challenges related to visitor flow and develop practical solutions.
• Support event readiness assessments, operational planning, and on-site implementation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with event requirements, operational standards, and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management within large-scale live events, festivals, or similar environments.
• Proven experience working across at least 2 live event seasons or cycles.
• Demonstrated expertise in planning shared spaces, circulation routes, dwell areas, and queueing systems.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in complex event environments.
