About the Role
Detecon is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on managing government tender tracking, supporting bid content localization, and ensuring high-quality submissions within a fast-paced consultancy environment. The successful candidate will be bilingual, possessing strong written Arabic and English skills to facilitate effective communication and documentation.
Role Context and Contribution
This position is central to Detecon's ability to respond effectively to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), particularly within Saudi government platforms such as Etimad. The role integrates opportunity tracking, business translation, and professional proposal presentation, playing a critical part in securing new engagements and maintaining high standards in all client-facing documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Etimad and other relevant procurement platforms daily to identify new tender opportunities.
- Categorize RFPs based on relevance and promptly notify internal teams of new opportunities.
- Maintain a comprehensive bid calendar, tracking deadlines, submission schedules, and ownership.
- Translate proposals and technical documents between English and Arabic, ensuring professional accuracy, appropriate tone, and alignment with tender specifications.
- Review and refine proposal layouts, ensuring consistency, readability, and visual quality.
- Ensure all submission packages comply with brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and client-specific formatting.
- Support automation initiatives, including the development of centralized RFP repositories, tracking dashboards, and standardized reporting templates.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5-10 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in a consulting, professional services, or government advisory environment.
- Strong written proficiency in both Arabic and English, with proven ability to translate complex documents professionally.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for formatting and presentation.
- Proven ability to coordinate inputs across various teams and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized, capable of juggling multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with remote or cross-cultural teams.
Work Environment
The role operates within a dynamic and fast-paced consultancy environment, requiring adaptability and strong organizational skills. Collaboration with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including remote teams, is a regular aspect of this position.
