PS Core SME

About the Role

Ericsson is establishing a new Request for Change function within Managed Services. This function will focus on technical governance, solution design, and change architecture across Core Network domains. We are seeking a PS Core SME to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in a full-time capacity.

Role Context and Contribution

The PS Core SME will play a key role in driving technical governance and architectural standards within the Core Network. This position involves assessing cross-domain impacts and defining end-to-end implementation strategies for network changes. The successful candidate will contribute to building robust solutions and ensuring the integrity of network transformations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze service requirements, High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), and Service Design Packages.
• Assess cross-domain impact across CS Core, IMS, and PS Core.
• Define the end-to-end implementation architecture and deployment strategy.
• Lead technical risk, impact, rollback, and dependency assessments.
• Define testing, validation, KPI monitoring, and acceptance criteria.
• Review and approve Method of Procedures (MOPs), scripts, implementation plans, and change packages.
• Act as a technical authority during Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews and major implementations.
• Support root cause analysis and post-implementation reviews.
• Drive architectural standards, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in telecom Core Networks, with a minimum of 8 years.
• Strong expertise in PS Core and good expertise in CS Core & IMS.
• Hands-on experience with MME, EPG, PCC/PCG, SAPC, SMF/UPF, NEF, ESOA, and iDNS.
• Experience with HLD/LLD analysis, impact analysis, migrations, upgrades, and network transformations.
• Experience working with change management, CAB governance, and operational handovers.
