Role Overview: QA Manual Tester (Gaming)

Hypemasters is seeking a QA Manual Tester to ensure the quality of its mobile games. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is open to Saudi Nationals only. The role involves collaborating with the QA Lead and developers to test new features, identify bugs, verify fixes, and contribute to a smooth player experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually test mobile game builds on physical devices to identify bugs, gameplay issues, and usability problems.
• Execute test cases and follow testing plans to ensure features function as intended.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, providing clear steps for reproduction.
• Retest fixes and perform regression testing to confirm existing features continue to work correctly.
• Test new features, game updates, events, and hotfixes for live mobile games.
• Verify gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, game progression, and in-game systems.
• Test across various devices and operating system versions to identify compatibility issues.
• Collaborate with the QA Lead, developers, and production team to communicate findings and enhance game quality.
• Contribute to maintaining clear testing documentation and reporting recurring issues.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in manual game testing or mobile game QA is preferred, but not mandatory for candidates demonstrating relevant skills and aptitude.
• Experience playing mobile games, particularly mid-core or strategy genres.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify unexpected behavior and potential issues.
• Good problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to testing.
• Ability to write clear, structured bug reports with reproducible steps.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira is an advantage.
• Comfortable testing games on Android and iOS devices.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a remote team.
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine passion for gaming.

Preferred Experience

• Experience testing live-service mobile games, including updates, events, and hotfixes.
• Experience with mobile strategy or mid-core games.
• Familiarity with tools such as Android Studio, ADB, or Xcode.
