QNB Group is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Corporate Relationship Management, for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of its Saudization initiatives.
Role Overview
The Assistant Vice President, Corporate Relationship Management, will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio comprising existing and potential corporate customers within the assigned country location. This role focuses on achieving specific financial targets and serves as the primary point of contact for extending the full spectrum of QNB's products and services to business customers, including credit and deposit services, international transactions, and other specialized offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement strategies and plans to achieve volume, revenue, and profit targets for Corporate Banking, aligning with QNB’s overall corporate budget and strategy.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of potential and existing corporate customers to meet financial and non-financial targets, adhering to QNB credit policies and procedures.
- Drive business development and origination, including preparing credit recommendations for selected local and regional corporations.
- Prepare comprehensive credit proposals for new customers and timely credit reviews for existing portfolios, addressing risk factors and market developments.
- Conduct periodic customer calls to capture ongoing business and enhance utilization of credit lines.
- Identify and report negative events or early signals of potential problematic accounts/relationships promptly.
- Obtain and maintain all requisite facility and account documentation to secure the bank’s interests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal functions/units to achieve goals and ensure consistent service delivery.
- Provide timely and accurate information to senior management, head office, auditors, compliance, financial control, and risk functions as required.
- Assist customers with product queries and seek solutions to their requests.
- Promote cost consciousness, efficiency, and productivity to optimize benefits for the bank.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in corporate relationship management within the banking sector.
- Sound knowledge of the banking and commercial environment specific to Saudi Arabia.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including the ability to compose correspondence and reports using standard bank software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and adopt a proactive approach to meet financial targets.
- Possess sound knowledge of QNB’s credit policies, procedures, and standards.
Compliance and Professional Conduct
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements, including Group Compliance Policies and Procedures (*, AML & CTF, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Sanctions Policy, Data Protection Policy, Fraud Control Policy).
- Effectively perform the role under the Three Lines of Defence principle to identify, measure, monitor, manage, and report risks.
- Ensure systematic good outcomes for clients in accordance with Conduct Risk policy.
- Support the framework of RCSA, KRI, Incident reporting, and remediation in line with Operational Risk Management requirements.
- Maintain high standards of data protection and confidentiality for commercially sensitive and customer information.
- Adhere to QNB policies and act within delegated powers.
- Complete all mandatory training and maintain required levels of competence.
