Quality Manager Responsibilities

The Quality Manager will be pivotal in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the project's Quality Management System (QMS) throughout the design phases. This role requires a deep understanding of client requirements, international standards, and project-specific procedures, with a prerequisite of proven experience in stadium projects. The successful candidate will ensure that the highest quality standards are met in all aspects of the project.

Key Tasks

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in full alignment with contractual requirements and Egis's standards.
  • Ensure comprehensive compliance with all applicable codes, standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
  • Lead and direct quality assurance and quality control activities across all relevant disciplines during the design development stages.
  • Thoroughly review and monitor all project deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards before formal submission.
  • Effectively establish and manage document control, audit, and inspection processes related to quality management.
  • Conduct regular internal quality audits and coordinate external audits as required by project needs or regulatory bodies.
  • Identify any non-conformities, implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and ensure their proper and timely closure.
  • Effectively support risk management initiatives by identifying quality-related risks and proposing appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Serve as the primary interface with the client, Project Management Consultant (PMC), and other key stakeholders on all quality-related matters.
  • Provide essential guidance and training to project teams to ensure consistent and effective application of established quality processes.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality performance and provide regular reports, highlighting areas requiring improvement.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in quality management, particularly in large, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Mandatory and proven experience in stadium projects, encompassing design, delivery, or both phases.
  • Strong and in-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing quality within complex stakeholder environments.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related technical field is required; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Professional certifications in quality management, such as an ISO Lead Auditor certification, are highly preferred.
