The Role of Reporting Engineer
AECOM is seeking a Reporting Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves supporting various aspects of project financial and performance reporting, with a focus on data collection, analysis, and the development of reporting knowledge. The position is suited for a professional with over 10 years of experience in relevant fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Familiarization with company financial and cornerstone systems and processes.
- Understanding financial terminology, measures, concepts, and principles for analyzing financial data.
- Exposure to processes that enhance recognition of the financial impact of various project actions.
- Understanding Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) concepts and principles.
- Researching data for subsequent use in cost and schedule analysis.
- Developing knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to use drawings and specifications.
- Assisting in the collection of progress data and reviewing performance trends.
- Developing knowledge of earned value concepts, principles, and methodology.
- Collecting data and producing initial analysis on manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations.
- Collecting data and producing initial analysis for tracking actual cost to funding limitations.
- Providing support for tracking purchase orders and subcontract commitments and expenditures.
- Understanding the concepts and principles of project revenue and cost.
- Developing knowledge of scope control and change management.
- Exposure to basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals, concepts, and principles.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, construction, or engineering projects.
