The Role of Retail District Manager, Carrefour

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Retail District Manager for Carrefour in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to enhancing store performance by monitoring and analyzing operational data, proposing strategic improvements, and ensuring their implementation in alignment with senior management directives and organizational objectives. The District Manager also facilitates coordination among internal functions to foster synergies consistent with the overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper conservation, utilization, and profitability of store assets within the country, including regular store visits to assigned locations.
• Support the development of national concepts and oversee their consistent application across the country.
• Implement MAF Retail corporate policies and ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations in the operating country.
• Oversee the application of product assortment structures and maintain high standards of product presentation.
• Support new projects throughout their lifecycle and coordinate functional synergies.
• Ensure the promotional image is consistently maintained for all assigned stores.
• Assist in the implementation of the performance management process by setting objectives, monitoring performance, providing constructive feedback, and offering input to senior management.
• Provide input on training needs and coordinate with the Human Capital department to facilitate required training programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement.
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring strategic alignment.
