Revenue Accountant

About the Role

Unified Real Estate Development Company is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for managing all revenue-related activities, including collections, receivable reviews, and tenant reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure periodic revenue recognition aligns with signed contracts and agreements.
• Review and validate the completeness and accuracy of monthly revenue figures.
• Conduct monthly revenue analysis.
• Review and validate calculations for Management Fees, Leasing Fees, and Renewal Fees.
• Assess the financial impact of contract amendments or modifications.
• Review credit notes, including calculation, approval, and documentation.
• Review Surrender Approval Forms (SAF) and the releasing of security deposits.
• Monitor and review revenue generated from new projects.
• Validate discounts granted to tenants.
• Perform tenant profiling and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculations.
• Calculate and review revenue straight-lining.
• Post periodic and ad-hoc invoicing, and daily receipts in Yardi.
• Prepare and share Statements of Account (SOA) with the Legal Department in Arabic.
• Resolve tenant disputes and queries.
• Analyze collection team and UAPM issues regarding receivables and recommend solutions.
• Perform customer ledger reconciliation and analysis.
• Monitor customer accounts involved in legal cases.
• Prepare the annual collection budget and monitor monthly collection targets.
• Review and present collection reports, including daily updates and weekly target vs. actual reporting.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, specifically with a focus on revenue management and collections. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting is essential for this role.
