About the Role

HungerStation is seeking a Rider Health and Safety Senior Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on ensuring the well-being and safety of our rider community through the development and implementation of robust health and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and implement rider health and safety programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular safety assessments and risk evaluations for riders' work environments and delivery routes.
• Monitor riders' compliance with safety protocols and provide guidance for improvement.
• Ensure customer delivery experience and safety, including food safety practices, rider-customer interaction, and hygiene.
• Organize health and safety initiatives and events for the riders’ community, covering topics such as safe driving and well-being.
• Monitor the accident and incident reporting framework.
• Identify safety issues and propose effective solutions.
• Support the reporting, documentation, and follow-up of rider-related incidents, near misses, and safety observations.
• Participate in incident investigations, identify root causes, and support corrective and preventive action tracking.
• Ensure incident records are complete, accurate, and closed within required timelines.
• Monitor recurring trends and escalate key risks to management.
• Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes to ensure daily work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of operational safety risks in logistics, transportation, field operations, or last-mile environments.
• Experience in reporting, data tracking, and safety performance monitoring.
• Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English is required.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred. A degree in Health, Safety, or a relevant field is also acceptable.
