Risk Manager

About the Role

Jeel Digital Innovations is seeking a Risk Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves establishing, developing, and enhancing the company's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework to ensure risks are effectively identified, assessed, monitored, and managed across the organization. The Risk Manager will contribute to building a proactive risk culture that supports Jeel’s strategic objectives and long-term resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of Jeel’s Enterprise Risk Management framework.
• Establish and maintain risk management methodologies, policies, processes, and reporting structures.
• Develop and maintain the enterprise Risk Register, covering strategic, operational, financial, technology, and compliance risks.
• Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and facilitate workshops with business units to identify emerging risks and evaluate existing controls.
• Review and challenge risk assessments to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with established risk methodologies.
• Develop and oversee risk mitigation plans, ensuring timely implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Define and monitor risk appetite, risk tolerance, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) in collaboration with senior management.
• Prepare comprehensive risk reports, executive dashboards, and management insights to support informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Compliance, Information Security, and business units to ensure alignment of risk management activities.
• Promote a strong risk-aware culture through awareness sessions, guidance, and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead, coach, and develop the risk function, providing technical guidance and monitoring team performance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance risk management processes, controls, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: 4–6 years in Risk Management within banking or related industries, including 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• ERM Expertise: Strong expertise in developing and implementing ERM frameworks, risk methodologies, risk registers, and enterprise-wide risk assessments.
• Risk Analysis & Reporting: Advanced knowledge of risk mitigation planning, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), risk reporting, and executive dashboards.
• Regulatory Awareness: Strong understanding of regulatory expectations, industry standards, internal controls, and risk governance practices.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to lead teams, facilitate risk workshops, and collaborate effectively with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
