Safety Supervisor/Engineer

About the Role

Alogayell Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor/Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on ensuring safety compliance and implementing HSE best practices within construction or infrastructure projects. The role requires strong knowledge of HSE requirements, safety procedures, risk assessments, and international safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safety regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and implement risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses, Method Statements, and Permit-to-Work procedures.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness programs; monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare investigation reports.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to resolve HSE issues and improve safety performance.
• Monitor emergency preparedness, fire prevention, and environmental compliance.
• Prepare HSE reports, safety statistics, inspection records, and project safety documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, ISO 45001, and applicable HSE regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor or Engineer on construction or infrastructure projects.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements, safety procedures, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with international safety standards and ISO 45001.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on site-based activities within construction and infrastructure projects.
