Sales Associate

About the Role

Apparel Group is seeking a Sales Associate to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for representing the brand and contributing to sales by providing customer service and retail experience. The role also involves performing operational duties as assigned by store management.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in product selection.
• Convert window shoppers into buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat sales.
• Serve customers following company guidelines (GUEST – Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
• Maintain awareness of various group brands for suggestive selling.

Merchandise and Store Operations

• Ensure all stock is displayed according to standard layout norms to attract customers.
• Adhere to all Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines and maintain stock norms for clearance items.
• Record inventory movement (inward/outward) and maintain related reports.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) / Billing Counter efficiently.
• Tally cash in the till at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Process receipts, refunds, and change accurately for customers.
• Handle payments via cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.
• Maintain constant awareness and vigilance regarding store security.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Loss Prevention Policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of sales figures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in a retail or customer service role.
• Must be presentable and well-groomed at all times.
• Possess up-to-date product knowledge.
• Ability to ensure minimal stock loss.

Work Environment and Expectations

The role requires flexibility to work extended hours during sale periods and varied shifts as per business requirements. Overtime may be necessary.
