The Role: Sales Supervisor

Basamh Group is seeking a Sales Supervisor for a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading the sales team within an assigned area to achieve sales targets, ensure customer satisfaction, and implement activities that expand the customer base, in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in developing the business plan for the Traditional Trade Channel within the assigned region.
• Achieve monthly collection targets for the assigned area, ensuring adherence to the company collection policy.
• Provide accurate and timely reconciliation reports as required (biannually and annually).
• Monitor customer visits according to the Journey Plan, identifying growth opportunities and implementing initiatives to maximize sales.
• Oversee stock levels within the assigned area, ensuring product availability and proper replenishment.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for Sales Representatives across various metrics (Value, Volume, Marketing Group, SKUs).
• Gather and monitor competitor information, including pricing, products, new launches, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
• Track monthly and quarterly sales incentives for both the sales team and customers, ensuring closure against sales goals.
• Submit daily route activity reports to the RSM for follow-up on progress.
• Assess the daily performance of Sales Representatives against sales and brand targets.
• Follow up with the sales team to ensure timely submission and accuracy of daily sales reports.
• Set and track distribution, visibility, coverage, and productivity targets for the team.
• Evaluate the performance of serviced stores and Sales Representatives, making necessary adjustments.
• Investigate team accidents/incidents, providing recommendations and taking corrective actions.
• Set clear performance objectives, offer support, and provide regular feedback on direct reports’ performance.
• Actively participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent for the function.
• Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor workflow.
• Create opportunities for team members to contribute to improvement, innovation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Sales Supervisor position should possess 3-6 years of relevant experience in sales supervision or a similar leadership role within the sales domain.
