About the Role

AWS EMEA SARL (Saudi Arabia Branch) is seeking a Security Assurance Solutions Architect - KSA Nationals to join the team in Riyadh. This full-time role is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the expansion of the Security Assurance practice. The architect will educate customers on operating securely on AWS and demonstrate how compliance objectives can be achieved.

Role Context and Purpose

The AWS Security Assurance Services team works with large enterprise customers to operationalize the shared responsibility model during their cloud migration. This position addresses the challenges of migrating systems and workloads to the cloud, assisting executives with enterprise risk management requirements through scalable computing architectures. The role operates at the intersection of cloud, cybersecurity, and compliance, contributing to a variety of security and compliance use cases across multiple lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
• Define innovative compliance and risk management approaches to help customers understand how to migrate sensitive workloads to the cloud efficiently.
• Resolve security assurance questions and provide guidance on managing risk and achieving compliance within the AWS Cloud through deep dive discussions, strategic presentations, recommendations, and hands-on demonstrations of compliance automation.
• Convey partner and customer feedback to AWS engineering, support, and business teams as input for technology roadmaps.
• Travel to customer sites as required.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The ideal candidate is a Governance, Risk, and Compliance professional with 0-1 years of experience, capable of addressing the complexities of cloud migration. This role requires an innovative security and compliance professional who can manage a wide range of compliance requirements, delve into details, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Success in this customer-facing role is measured by enabling customers to move workloads and regulated data into the cloud by addressing specific risk, regulatory, and compliance needs.

The AWS Security Assurance Services team, operating as a PCI-QSAC (Payment Card Industry-Qualified Security Assessor company) and HITRUST External Assessor Firm, consists of industry-certified assessors.
