Security Detection & System Engineer IGA Data & Application Security

About the Role

NourNet is seeking a Security Detection & System Engineer specializing in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Data Security, and Application Security. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 5-10 years of experience. The successful candidate will work on behalf of one of NourNet's clients in the financial sector, focusing on engineering, operating, and optimizing security controls to protect critical information assets and support secure digital operations.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves a comprehensive set of responsibilities across identity, data, and application security domains:

• Administer and optimize Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms, such as SailPoint, and other Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools.
• Troubleshoot issues related to identity workflows, access provisioning, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Support secure application onboarding and role design in collaboration with Application Development and Architecture teams.
• Implement and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, database activity monitoring, and application-level data controls.
• Support secure configuration and policy management for Web Application Firewalls (WAF), API security, and web gateways.
• Investigate and resolve DLP incidents and application protection issues.
• Integrate identity and data security logs into Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
• Support detection engineering and telemetry enablement across identity and data systems.
• Contribute to the development of security design patterns for identity, data, and application protection.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Between 5 and 10 years of relevant professional experience in security engineering.
