Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) ServiceNow CSA

About the Role

VaporVM is seeking an experienced Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) ServiceNow CSA to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on providing specialized expertise in security architecture, design, and implementation within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience and hold a valid ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

Role Overview

The Security SME will be responsible for contributing to the security posture of enterprise systems by designing and implementing robust security solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and hands-on experience in security solution design and implementation, with a particular focus on ServiceNow-related security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architectures and solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
• Provide SME-level expertise across security architecture, design, and implementation.
• Assess existing security environments and recommend improvements.
• Develop and review security designs, standards, policies, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, application, and technology teams to implement security requirements.
• Identify security risks and vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support security assessments, audits, compliance, and risk management activities.
• Implement and integrate security controls and technologies.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
• Support ServiceNow-related security requirements, processes, and workflows.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Security Architecture, Security Design, and Security Implementation.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, enterprise security architecture, and security controls.
• Hands-on experience with security solution design and implementation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Enterprise security experience in large-scale environments.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and industry best practices.
• Experience with ServiceNow security modules and workflows.
• CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
• Experience supporting large-scale technology transformation or implementation projects.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves collaboration with various technical teams and stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of security requirements and strategies.
