The Opportunity

MDK Consultant is seeking a Senior Architect with extensive experience in design to join a significant sports infrastructure project. This contract position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and offers an opportunity to contribute to major developments within the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design development for large-scale projects, including stadiums and sports venues.
• Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with international building regulations and standards, including FIFA rules.
• Prepare comprehensive construction documents.
• Oversee site supervision activities to ensure design integrity and quality.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• A minimum of 15 years of professional work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and successful completion of stadiums, sports venues, or other large, complex projects.
• Strong understanding of FIFA regulations and international building codes.
• Proficiency in design development, technical review processes, construction documentation, and site supervision.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability in people management.
