Their service offerings also include litigation and legal advisory, tax and zakat consultations, and bankruptcy and liquidation services.
The Senior Auditor Role
SW BMB&Co is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their full-time team in Riyadh. This role involves leading audit engagements and contributing to the firm's diverse service offerings. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for ensuring high-quality audit work and providing expert financial insights to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and leading audit engagements, including managing timelines and budgets.
- Reviewing the work of junior auditors to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Performing financial statement analysis and evaluating internal controls.
- Applying relevant accounting standards such as IFRS and local GAAP.
- Utilizing audit and accounting software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
- Presenting complex findings clearly and professionally to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identifying issues and proposing practical solutions based on sound professional judgment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in external audit; experience with a Top 10 audit firm is preferred.
- Relevant experience in external audit, ideally at a public accounting or professional services firm.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CA, SOCPA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Experience with litigation support, tax, or advisory services is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong technical expertise in audit and accounting.
- Proficiency in using audit and accounting software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in hybrid environments, balancing on-site client work with remote tasks.
- High ethical standards, commitment to quality, and willingness to stay updated on industry standards and regulations.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working in a hybrid environment, requiring a balance of on-site client engagement and remote tasks while maintaining productivity and confidentiality.
