Senior BI Analyst

About the Role

Nice One is seeking a Senior BI Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on transforming data into actionable insights that support business decision-making and improve overall business performance. The Senior BI Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and performance metrics, while also enhancing reporting processes through automation.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the accuracy and quality of information to support various business functions and contribute to the achievement of company objectives. This involves a commitment to data integrity and the continuous improvement of business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards, performance reports, and KPI scorecards that align with business requirements and support decision-making.
• Prepare recurring KPI reports, performance dashboards, and management reports on schedule to support performance monitoring and executive reporting.
• Present data through clear and effective visualizations to simplify the understanding of business trends and results for users across different functions.
• Develop automated solutions for recurring reports and workflows to reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop reusable datasets and standardized reports, and support business users in accessing and utilizing approved information independently.
• Validate data, calculations, and KPI results before publishing reports; ensure accuracy and consistency; and investigate, resolve, or escalate data quality issues as needed.
• Monitor dashboard performance, data refreshes, and report availability to help ensure the reliability and continuity of BI solutions.
• Respond to reporting requests, troubleshoot dashboard issues, and assist users across business functions in understanding and interpreting BI outputs.
• Maintain documentation of reports, KPI definitions, and calculation rules, ensuring compliance with approved reporting and data governance standards.
• Continuously improve reporting quality, data visualization, and automation processes while staying updated with developments in business intelligence tools and practices.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence or data analysis. The position requires a professional who can effectively translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
