Senior Business Analyst (SAUDI NATIONAL)

About the Role

Dar AlBalad is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position open exclusively to Saudi Nationals. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience, focusing on business analysis for digital platforms and software projects, particularly within the context of Saudi government digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis efforts for digital platform and software projects.
• Deliver workflow-heavy platforms from initial requirements gathering through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to go-live.
• Integrate platforms with government services such as Nafath, Absher, SADAD, or ZATCA.
• Prepare client-approved Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).
• Develop agile user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Model business processes using BPMN and document business rules.
• Define financial flows, including fees, payments, payouts, and reconciliation processes.
• Lead workshops with senior officials, demonstrating fluency in both Arabic and English.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of business analysis experience on digital platform or software projects.
• At least 3 years of experience with Saudi government digital services, such as e-services, licensing and permits, grant or subsidy programs, or payments.
• Demonstrated experience delivering at least two workflow-heavy platforms from requirements through UAT to go-live, with at least one integrated with government services (*, Nafath, Absher, SADAD, or ZATCA).

Required Skills

• Proficiency in preparing BRDs, FRDs, agile user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong BPMN modeling and business-rules documentation skills.
• Experience in defining financial flows, including fees, payments, payouts, and reconciliation.
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English, essential for leading workshops with senior officials.
