Senior Business Analyst

About the Role

Elm Company is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves analyzing, documenting, and managing business requirements for fleet management and vehicle tracking solutions. The Senior Business Analyst will translate customer, operational, and business needs into clear, structured, and testable requirements, acting as a bridge between various stakeholders to ensure solutions meet expectations and support successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams, facilitating workshops and interviews to understand needs and objectives.
• Identify business challenges, operational gaps, and improvement opportunities, translating them into structured and actionable requirements.
• Analyze requirements related to vehicle tracking, fleet management, and mobility services, evaluating operational processes such as trips, vehicle status, driver behavior, geofencing, maintenance, and fuel consumption.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, functional specifications, and supporting documentation, defining acceptance criteria, business rules, and system behavior.
• Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and use cases to represent operational and system processes, analyzing current and future-state processes for efficiency improvements.
• Define reporting, dashboard, and KPI requirements for fleet and mobility solutions, documenting calculations, business rules, and reporting dimensions.
• Document integration requirements involving APIs, tracking devices, telematics platforms, and external systems, collaborating with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation.
• Support the Product Manager in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog, assessing the impact of change requests, and participating in release planning.
• Develop user acceptance testing scenarios and test cases, participating in feature validation and acceptance testing activities to ensure delivered solutions meet requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis.
• Proven ability to analyze and document business requirements for complex solutions, particularly in fleet management or vehicle tracking.
• Experience in facilitating workshops, conducting interviews, and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of operational processes related to mobility services.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, and functional specifications.
• Ability to develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and use cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify business challenges and improvement opportunities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business stakeholders, product management, design, development, and quality assurance teams.
• Attention to detail to ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and testable.

Work Environment and Compliance

The role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be expected to adhere to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
