About the Role

Link x Talent is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and engineering, ensuring that business analysis and delivery follow-up are managed end-to-end. The successful candidate will allow engineering leadership to focus on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear, written requirements, including user stories with acceptance criteria, edge cases, non-functional needs, and success metrics.
• Map current-state versus future-state user journeys for changes impacting customer flows across product areas.
• Maintain a living product backlog per product area, prioritized in collaboration with Product teams.
• Author functional specifications that enable designers and engineers to build solutions effectively.
• Run daily check-ins with assigned engineering squads to track progress, identify blockers, and plan next steps.
• Track active tasks across Azure DevOps work items, sprint boards, PRs, and deployed states on QA/production, addressing any stalled tasks.
• Maintain a single dashboard view of progress per product area for leadership review.
• Surface blockers promptly to the relevant personnel with sufficient context for immediate action.
• Drive sprint retrospectives and document actions with assigned owners.
• Produce benchmark deliverables for new or enhanced features, including competitor analysis, screenshots, flow recordings, strengths, weaknesses, missed opportunities, and clear recommendations.
• Conduct periodic competitor sweeps to monitor pricing models, monetization mechanics, and new feature releases.
• Integrate market intelligence into product decisions prior to user story creation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Business Analyst in software product companies, not solely IT services consultancies.
• Excellent written English skills, demonstrated through PRDs and specification documents.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (work items, sprint boards, backlogs) or Jira at a power-user level.
• Proficiency with Replit for building quick interactive prototypes, sandboxes, or proof-of-concepts to validate ideas with stakeholders. Familiarity with Replit Agent/AI features is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read API specifications and database schemas, enabling discussions on data flow with engineers.
• Demonstrable benchmarking output, with 2-3 examples of competitive analyses authored.
• Experience in stakeholder management across non-technical (sales, operations, marketing) and technical audiences.

Preferred Attributes

• Background in classifieds, marketplaces, or multi-sided platforms.
• Knowledge of the regional GCC market.
• Basic SQL, Power BI, or dashboarding skills for data extraction.
• Agile/Scrum certification.
• Familiarity with other rapid prototyping tools such as Bolt, Lovable, v0, or Cursor.
