WSP is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer-Water Transmission Pipeline to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires over 10 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will act as the consultant's representative, overseeing the construction and delivery of water transmission pipeline works.

Role Overview

The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for monitoring contractor performance, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards, and coordinating with various stakeholders. This role is critical for supporting the successful execution of projects within established schedule and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities related to water transmission pipelines and associated civil infrastructure.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
• Review and provide comments on shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical proposals.
• Monitor contractor progress, quality, and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and witness testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues encountered during construction.
• Coordinate with the Client, Contractor, authorities, and other project stakeholders.
• Review contractor progress reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
• Assist in evaluating variations, claims, and contractual matters.
• Prepare periodic progress, quality, and technical reports for project management.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, specifically with water transmission pipeline projects.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working on landmark projects and contributing to significant community impact.
