The Role: Senior Civil Engineer

Araner is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join its team for a major full-time project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a professional with 6–7 years of experience in civil engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising civil engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Working under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for:

• Leading and supervising all civil engineering activities throughout the project.
• Reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinating with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Monitoring construction progress and ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
• Resolving technical issues arising during project execution.
• Reviewing contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals.
• Preparing technical reports and monitoring project progress.
• Ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
• Coordinating effectively with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams.
• Supporting project planning, scheduling, and successful project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6–7 years of experience as a Civil Engineer.
• Previous experience in Industrial EPC Projects is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and international standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or 3D (civil engineering designs).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
• Excellent command of the English language.
• A valid driving license is preferred.
