About the Opportunity

Development Works Company is seeking a highly qualified Senior Civil Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position within a leading contracting company, focusing on the supervision and management of on-site civil construction activities.

Role Overview

The Senior Civil Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of civil construction projects. This involves overseeing all site operations, guaranteeing adherence to technical specifications and project timelines, and maintaining rigorous standards for quality and safety throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site civil construction activities.
• Ensure that work is executed strictly according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and overall project progress.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal project management teams.
• Prepare comprehensive site reports and actively resolve technical issues as they arise.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 9 years of experience in construction and site execution.
• Proven experience in managing site activities and supervising civil works.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Experience in coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and various project stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Excellent leadership capabilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in preparing daily and weekly progress reports.

Additional Requirements

• Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers is preferred.
• A transferable Iqama is preferred.
• Immediate availability to join is preferred, with priority given to immediate joiners.
