Role Overview

Astek Middle East is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to contribute to the planning, execution, and oversight of civil engineering, building, infrastructure, and sustainability projects across Saudi Arabia. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, requires 2-5 years of experience and involves providing technical expertise for civil and structural works, building upgrades, and retrofit activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide civil and structural engineering expertise for building, infrastructure, retrofit, and facility upgrade projects.
• Review civil and structural designs, drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Conduct site assessments and inspections to evaluate existing conditions and identify requirements for civil and structural works.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical and mechanical engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor construction and civil works to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with approved designs and schedules.
• Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering recommendations and solutions.
• Prepare and review technical reports, quantity estimates, material take-offs, and project documentation.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution activities related to the civil engineering scope.
• Monitor progress and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to support timely project delivery.
• Ensure civil and structural works comply with applicable Saudi regulations, codes, standards, and project requirements.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking an experienced civil engineering professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to take ownership of civil and structural engineering activities. Candidates should possess 3+ years of relevant experience, with professionals holding significantly more experience also encouraged to apply if they meet the technical and qualification requirements.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working closely with project managers, architects, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure civil works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs, project specifications, and applicable regulations.
