About the Role

BEC Arabia is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Procurement Engineer to join its Procurement team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to managing technical procurement activities for the company's large-scale construction projects.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient and compliant procurement processes. This involves comprehensive vendor coordination, thorough material evaluation, and strategic cost optimization. The role requires a focus on adherence to project requirements and quality standards throughout the procurement lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Review civil material submittals, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Coordinate effectively with suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams.
Handle Requests for Quotation (RFQs), conduct detailed technical comparisons, and perform vendor evaluations.
Support procurement planning and manage material delivery schedules to ensure project timelines are met.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with specified project requirements and established quality standards.
Participate actively in cost control and value engineering initiatives to optimize project expenditures.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction procurement.
Strong knowledge of civil materials and a comprehensive understanding of suppliers within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Proven experience working on large-scale construction projects.
Excellent negotiation and coordination skills are essential.

Compensation and Work Type

This is a full-time position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from SAR 11,250 to SAR 15,000, dependent on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
