About Unifonic and the Senior Compliance Specialist Role

Unifonic is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This is a full-time position focused on managing and enhancing the company's compliance function.

Role Overview

The Compliance team at Unifonic is responsible for overseeing all compliance affairs of the company. The Senior Compliance Specialist will play a key role in anticipating potential issues and developing proactive, practical solutions to ensure the business operates within regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the organization maintains an engagement framework with the regulator (CST).
  • Collaborate with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory compliance risks.
  • Maintain and coordinate open communication with relevant decision-makers and stakeholders regarding regulatory communication and impact.
  • Organize regular training sessions for employees to communicate key regulatory changes and updates effectively.
  • Support the creation and implementation of organizational policies, standards, and procedures to comply with applicable regulations.
  • Research industry compliance regulations and policies.
  • Evaluate internal operational and procedural compliance.
  • Maintain internal regulatory compliance through communicating requirements, obtaining approvals, and training stakeholders.
  • Apply for compliance certifications and regulatory approvals.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance recordkeeping system.
  • Maintain communication with compliance regulators and follow up on applications.
  • Stay informed about compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
  • Identify roadblocks and propose process improvements within compliance operations.
  • Maintain a compliance communication register and related documentation.
  • Create and manage action plans in response to regulatory compliance audit discoveries and violations.
  • Remediate regulatory audits and periodic reviews, compiling identified gaps and action plans.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 3+ years of experience in a compliance-related field. A strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and practical experience in implementing compliance strategies are essential.
