About the Role

EY is seeking to recruit a Senior Consultant to join its Business Consulting Procurement team in Riyadh. This role focuses on helping clients navigate the increasing complexity of supply chain and operations, driven by new markets and technological advancements. The successful candidate will leverage analytical insights to enhance clients' global business performance and improve their procurement and sourcing strategies.

Key Areas of Focus

The Supply Chain & Operations – Procurement team provides expertise in various aspects of Procurement transformation, including:

  • Spend Management, encompassing cost optimization, category management, and strategic sourcing.
  • Procurement Operating Model Transformation.
  • Procurement Digitalization.
  • Procurement Operations.
  • Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations within procurement.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing innovative commercial insights for clients by applying your knowledge and experience.
  • Adapting methods and practices to align with operational team and cultural requirements.
  • Contributing to thought leadership within the procurement domain.
  • Actively contributing to the improvement of operational efficiency on both client projects and internal initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A strong background in Procurement projects, gained either in industry or consulting.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working at a tier 1 consultancy.
  • An outstanding academic record, with at least a Bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated experience and passion in one or more of the following areas: Digital solutions and trends, operating model development, third-party spend management, ESG, or leading supply chain solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
  • An entrepreneurial approach with the ability to identify business opportunities and cross-sell services and products.

While not essential, Arabic speaking and reading skills are considered an advantage.
