The Role: Senior Dry Utilities Engineer

ARX | Smart Minds is seeking a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer for its office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This permanent position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years of experience specifically within KSA. The role involves a deep understanding of dry utility networks, including power, telecommunications, and street lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee the design of dry utility systems for various infrastructure projects.
• Perform and review engineering calculations, network design, cable sizing, and other engineering analyses for dry utility systems.
• Ensure all dry utility designs comply with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to integrate dry utility systems into overall project designs.
• Coordinate utility corridors, crossings, connections, diversions, and interfaces with other infrastructure disciplines.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
• Review designs and technical deliverables prepared by engineers, designers, and the BIM/CAD team.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• At least 3 years of experience working within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated understanding of dry utility networks, including power, telecommunications, and street lighting systems.
