Al-Hamra Kuwait Company is seeking a dedicated Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for leading the execution of electrical works on our active construction projects, ensuring high standards from project initiation through to handover.

The Role: Senior Electrical Project Engineer

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will assume full ownership of on-site electrical installation, quality control, and coordination. Your expertise will be vital in managing all aspects of electrical works, ensuring they align with project specifications, regulatory standards, and overall project timelines. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and strong leadership in a dynamic construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day electrical installation works, including power, lighting, LV/MV systems, cable routing, containment, and earthing.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals to ensure execution aligns with approved designs and specifications.
• Coordinate electrical works effectively with civil, mechanical, and other MEP disciplines to prevent clashes and delays.
• Manage and monitor electrical subcontractors regarding progress, manpower, quality, and compliance with the project program.
• Lead testing and commissioning activities and prepare for inspections by authorities and clients.
• Ensure strict compliance with SEC regulations, the Saudi Building Code, and all project HSE requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports, maintain accurate site records, and develop as-built documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical project engineering, specifically within construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage on-site electrical works from mobilization to handover.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and relevant industry standards.
• A transferable Iqama is preferred for candidates based in Saudi Arabia.

Work Environment

This role is based on active construction sites in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring a hands-on approach and direct involvement in project execution. The successful candidate will work within a project-driven environment, collaborating with various engineering disciplines and managing external contractors to achieve project milestones.
