Senior Enterprise Technology Architect

About the Role

Accenture Middle East is seeking a Senior Enterprise Technology Architect to join its Global Architecture Excellence team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves helping clients reimagine their business and IT by integrating AI-native, cloud-native, and traditional technologies with industry and entrepreneurial expertise.

Role Context and Focus

The Enterprise Technology Architecture group focuses on business-technology alignment, enterprise technology blueprints, and roadmaps, often engaging in C-Level discussions. The team operates across a range of technologies, including new and cloud-native solutions, as well as traditional enterprise applications like Salesforce, SAP, Cobol, and mainframe systems. This position is part of a global team dedicated to defining and executing technology visions and transformations for Accenture's clients, assisting them in creating and delivering next-generation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the sales and delivery of work covering:
  • Enterprise Technology Architecture North-Star Vision, Blueprints & Roadmaps
  • Enterprise Technology Architecture Assessments
  • Enterprise Technology Investment Portfolio Definition & Governance
  • Application Portfolio Rationalization
• Support new and existing engagements by:
  • Architecting complex IT solutions based on emerging technologies for Accenture’s clients
  • Estimating Technology Architecture solution complexity & cost
  • Ideating, Designing & Supervising the implementation of Technology solutions
  • Performing Architecture Assessments and Technology Quality Assurance reviews
• Contribute to Accenture's ecosystem growth by:
  • Developing strong relationships with clients, becoming trusted advisors at the C-level and direct report
  • Developing strong relationships with technology vendors to influence emerging product strategies
  • Sensing the market for disruptive technologies and potential future areas of investment

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in technology and/or enterprise architecture work (total experience 5-10 years)
• Good working knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent cloud service providers
• Familiarity with Agentic AI, Software Development Lifecycle processes and technologies, including DevSecOps and Agile development principles
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated abilities to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams and fostering collaboration among stakeholders
• Proven experience in engineering and modernizing IT systems using Agentic AI
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and demands, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in dynamic environments

Work Environment and Travel

This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Travel may be required, with the amount varying from 25% to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.
